How to donate items

Warm Wishes accepts blankets, comforters, quilts and sleeping bags. Donated items should be new or used, but clean and in good repair. Simply call 1-630-881-4906 to arrange to have your donations picked up or information on where to leave them.

How to make a monetary donation

Warm Wishes uses your tax-deductible financial donations to purchase additional blankets, comforters, or sleeping bags as needed. There are no administrative costs. To make a donation, please find our easy-to-use Donate Online Now! button in the menu on the left. If you prefer, you can make your check or money order payable to Warm Wishes, P.O. Box 8401, Bartlett, IL, 60103-8401.

How to organize a blanket drive

You can organize a blanket drive through your work, church, neighborhood, scout troop or social organization. Establish a time period for collection, perhaps tying it in with a holiday or theme - be creative. Spread the word on your event by posting and distributing flyers. Customize your flyers to suit your drive. See our sample flyers for ideas. Establish drop-off points, drop boxes, or have neighbors leave blankets on their front porch for pick-up on a certain day.
